A power supply outside is a common request these days. We will also dig the trench for you to lay the required cable. All sockets used outside must be protected by a 30mA RCD.  Taking power supplies out in to the garden is best left to the experts and is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations.  The pictures below show a weatherproof socket in both the closed position and the open position ready to install the plug. When the plug is installed the lid is closed again to provide protection.

Outside living is becoming even more popular. The photos below show lights on a Garden Pergola. Heat lamps chosen by the client were also installed to provide some warmth when required. This work was all completed using steel wired armoured Cable and specialist outdoor switches.
